Main responsibilities
The Exams and Education Committee ensures that the Society’s exams remain relevant and up to date and it oversees the development and administration of any new exams. It also reviews all policy issues relating to exams and education and proposes any necessary changes to the CFA UK Board. Specifically, the Committee has responsibility for:
- overseeing the society’s responsibilities as an Ofqual Awarding Organisation and ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements
- determining and proposing the annual strategic plan for education to the CFA UK Board
- overseeing the society’s responsibilities as an FCA Accredited Body and ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements
- oversight and governance of educational projects and activities
- oversight and governance of the IMC Panel and Climate and Investing panel
