The Committee’s vision is of an investment profession where strong ethical standards are a benchmark requirement for all industry participants and ethical considerations are at the heart of all decisions made by firms. In realising this vision, the particular mission of the Committee is to support the understanding and articulation of ethical standards in a way that serves the profession, society and members well.

  • Ensure strong ethics are a key defining attribute of the Society’s identity
  • Facilitate regular discussion of ethical issues within the membership
  • Develop a wide array of resources for members to support ethical decision making
  • Encourage firms in the industry look to the Society as a thought leader in ethics training and initiatives
